Just like working for Google or LinkedIn gives one access to all sorts of recreational, in-office activities, it seems that being on the Mercedes-Benz payroll has its special benefits.
Let's take the driver of the W213 E-Class in the video below. This is the same Benz we showed you overtaking a 2018 BMW 3 Series test vehicle in spectacular fashion and it seems its driver has a thing for flying past camouflaged prototypes on the Nurburgring.

Well, the piece of footage at the bottom of the page shows the E punishing its tires (in what sounds like a four-wheel skid) on two repeated occasions while going past the 2018 Hyundai RM16 N prototype.

And we'll ask ourselves again? Is the E-Class test car wearing eco rubber? This would explain all the tire squeal that have determined us to call this test vehicle the Non-Beast of the Green Hell.

Then again, it's enough to remember the racecar manner in which the E63 prototypes passed everything on the Ring before the uber-sedan made its debut to figure out Mercedes might be up to something here.

As for the said Hyundai, this isn't exactly a sane effort, either. For one thing, we should be dealing with a mid-engined machine that, once present in showrooms, will build quite a name for the South Korean automaker's new N performance division.

Judging by the specs of the concept car that previewed the contraption, we'll be treated with at least 296 hp (300 hp) and 283 lb-ft (383 Nm) of torque, while our previous spy affairs have determined us to believe the manic hatch packs a stick shift.

Heck, we even went as far as wondering whether the Hyundai N arm could become a Porsche alternative one day.

Returning to the spy footage we have here, this kicks off with the RM16 N being driven on the roads around the Nordschleife and the thing's street presence is simply otherworldly.
