Crazed Scotsman Axes Ferrari 612 Scaglietti - Literally

The 612 Scaglietti is arguably one of the least successful Ferraris made in recent years, however it’s still a piece of brilliant Italian design, powered by a ‘evocative’ 6-liter V12 engine, hence its name. Sadly for a Scottish property developer, the ownership experience of the 612 was less than pleasant, when he discovered that his €257,000 (£207,000) was completely ruined on the exterior.

As the title of this article may have hinted, the crazed man used an axe to repeatedly hit the Ferrari, denting every single panel of its body, smashing the windows and slashing the tires. According to the owner, Rajinder Singh, he did not have any enemies and he has no idea who could have done the deed - haven’t we heard that before, though...

The entire scene was reportedly captured on CCTV, and the man was seen violently hitting the car and then calmly and casually walking away, after doing around €50,000 (£40,000) worth of damage to the car which now looks very sad and tragic, with all its ‘scars’.
