Crashed Ferrari F355 Challenge Tries Tow Truck Escape

It's an unfortunate event, having your beloved Ferrari hit a tree or roll wheels up because of a mistake you made, or worse, one that someone else made. The simple act of watching your car being towed away with extensive damage is enough to make you wanna cry.

But for some, the Ferrari they own is an extension of their ambitious self. Speed loving, adrenaline junkies like the guy that owns this F355 Challenge have a tendency of transmitting a bit of their personality to the car they own, so that when you least expect it, the car comes alive and does unpredictable things.

According to Carscoop, somewhere in France, a hill climb ended badly for the aforementioned F355 Challenge, which ended up, windshield shattered, wheels up on the tarmac. A whole army of people, involved or not at all involved in the salvaging process, rushed to the scene to watch, some armed with brooms, as the quintessential red Ferrari is being put back on all its fours and then chained to the back of a platform.

What all those people weren't expecting was to witness the Ferrari try to get loose from its captivity and make a run for it, engine off. As the car was being positioned on the tow truck, the chain that was pulling it suddenly breaks, unleashing the car on the road.

The video below shows a funny sight, with most of the crowd present at the scene jumping in and trying to lend a hand in apprehending the runaway car. As it all starts, we can't help from noticing a bit of curling analogy: watch the guy in white overalls as he brushed the tarmac in front of the car, as if trying to ensure it a smooth ride towards the nearest tree.
