Crashed Bugatti in Moscow Racing Event

It always hurts when you see supercars smashed, leaving you only to imagine the beauty that it once was, and it’s even worse when you find out it was the fault of the one who was driving it.

One beautiful, blue Bugatti EB110 supercar was ‘mutilated’ during a motor racing show in Moscow, held on July 19.

Over 100,000 people that attended the event were left mouth-opened when, during a supercar display, the driver of a 1993 Bugatti EB110 lost control and crashed into a security barrier, causing the event to postpone everything for an hour and a half, as all the oil and shattered carbon fiber had to be cleared from the track.

However, even though he seriously damaged one of the rarest supercars in the world, the driver escaped with no injuries, the Auto Trader reported... at least for the moment, as any supercar fan would want to damage him a little for allowing himself to lose control while behind the wheel of an EB 110.

In fact, what the spectators wanted to see was the second annual Bavaria City Racing, which gathered names like David Coulthard, Heikki Kovalainen and Kazuki Nakajama to race F1 cars around the Kremlin.

Built between 1991 and 1995, the EB 110 was the world’s fastest production car for a period, capable of 0-62mph in 3.4 seconds and a top speed of 215mph.

The model was built to celebrate the 110th anniversary of the birth of Ettore Bugatti, and only 139 of these cars were ever made, so this makes it a rarer sight than the Veyron.
