This is one of the strangest and more unexplained incidents we’ve reported in a while. Apparently, in the northern part of India, they don’t take too kindly to Opel Astra hatchbacks with cameras fitted to the roof, since such a car was recently found crashed into a rocky ravine.
There are also two guys in the video, one of which is throwing rocks at the crashed Astra - they don’t look or sound at all Indian. We are quite sure they aren’t the drivers because the car seems like it was left on the rocks for quite a while. It's filthy and covered with a thick layer of red-ish dust.

This has honestly baffled us, and we hope to have more information on the situation soon, as we are very curious about how something like this could have occurred.

However, since we did stumble upon such a case, we figured we may as well discuss a little of what could be Google's coolest program after their internet search engine.

As you may very well know, without these camera-equipped vehicles there wouldn’t be any Google Maps or Google Earth, at least not in the accurate form we have all been accustomed to. It all started back in 2007 in several cities in the United States and had since expanded to include cities and rural areas worldwide.

Believe it or not, even though most of the images are taking by cars, some of the photography is also done by trekker, tricycle, walking, boat, snowmobile, camel, and underwater apparatus. The IT giant is working quite hard to make sure the projects goes on, and the mapping system remains as accurate as possible.

There's even a funny side to the program, as more and more people find themselves being photographed by the Google Street View cameras years after it happened. Sometimes these cars also take peculiar shots with some even being forbidden to the public. But seeing that there are people who decide to ruin it is kind of sad to be honest.
