While the Internet is still debating on whether the new Supra is worthy of the badge, the first owners are currently preparing to take delivery of their cars. Alas, it looks like not all 2020 Toyota Supras that are currently riding on the back of a truck will make it to the garage.
For instance, the three Mk V Supras we have here show serious damage and it appears they have been crashed during transport, since the truck underneath them also seems to have taken a hit.
We're looking at three hit Toyota sportscars here. While the white car on top only seems to pack light damage on its lower apron area (we can't know what's under the bumper, though), we can't say the same about the grey example below it. In fact, this one might even be a total loss.
Note that the grey car also seems to have been pushed into the red Supra in front of it, even though we can't assess the damage on the latter.
As for the details surrounding the accident, we could try to rely on the bits visible in this photo, but these don't seem to lead us anywhere.
You see, while the license plate on the trailer carrying the Toyota Supras comes from the European Union, the top car packs the North American side markers, while the white unit apperas to use the four-cylinder model's wheels (this isn't offered in the US).
Since we seem to be looking at an international affair here, perhaps the accident that caused all these problems took place next to the factory, while the Supras were being taken to the ships that would transport them around the world.
Regardless, these images have caused quite a stir on social media, as you'll notice in the comments section of the Instagram post below, for instance. So... how much for those wheels?
