It's not looking too good for this Wiesmann MF4 Roadster, which crashed on the streets of Monaco.
This video, taken just a few minutes after the unfortunate event, shows local police cordoning off the area and warning incoming traffic of the danger. The crashed Wiesmann car looks severely damaged at the front, where most of the front left fender is missing or damaged. The lightweight alloy wheel is completely buckled, the suspension destroyed and numerous other parts damaged.

Nobody knows what happened, exactly, but the spotter who took the video says he heard the car accelerate hard moments before the crash. The back probably stepped out somehow and the car mounted the middle divider and hit that tree next to the crash site, the one with its bark torn to shreds.

With Monaco filled to the brim by supercars gathered for Top Marques Monaco, maybe the Wiesmann owner had a little chip on his shoulder. You can se a Bugatti Veyron, an Alfa 4C and a Ferrari FF passing by the crash. Ass those nice new cars, and what does the MF4 have to battle them? MF4 Roadsters pack an engine from the old BMW 550i. The 4.4-liter V8 puts out 408 hp and is linked to a 6-speed automatic. Because the sportscar is light, 0 to 100 km/h takes 4.6 seconds, way faster than you can say "oh snap, we're going to crash into that tree and end up on Youtube".
