Now that season 18 is over, one third of Top Gear has got something else for the petrolhead in you. Rather, seeing as it’s from BBC America, we’d say it’s for the gearhead in you.
A trailer for Richard Hammond’s new show, Crash Course, has been released over the weekend, and it’s all about destruction.
The trailer starts out with a whole bunch of mangled heaps of metal that used to be cars, but are now burning and contorted. Among them is a Renault Megane so presumably this wasn’t filmed in America, but the actual show is.
An old artillery tank, an Abrams in desert camo and an emergency rescue airport fire truck are just some of the extreme vehicles Hammond has to tame in a short amount of time. Will he be able to do it? We’ll find out when the show debut on April 16th.
