CoverEFX is an aftermarket specialist that has made an obsession for wrapping cars, but sometimes likes to go beyond the surface. This is one of those times, and we are here to show you what the company has done for a pair of MINI John Cooper Works vehicles.
Under the R53 designation, the two cars have received a rollcage and a set of Recaro racing seats, as well as a set of 17-inch OZ Racing lightweight alloy rims that come wrapped in Toyo rubber (205/40).
The yellow-wrapped JCW Mini uses a Bilstein B14 suspension that brings it closer to the road, with the list of tech mods also including a sports exhaust system and a new ECU map that bring the power up to 234 hp.
As for the second car, this comes dressed in Smurf Blue, allows the driver to play with 236 hp, thanks to a GP intercooler, a sports air filter a Schrik camshaft and a Mcchip-DKR ECU software. It also handles like it’s on rails, thanks to a Bilstein B16 suspension, an OMP strut brace and a H&R adjustable rear stabilizer bar.
