Jamiroquai's lead singer Jay Kay is the proud owner of this green LaFerrari, which has to be the first example of the Italian hypercar that we've seen in this color. Somewhere between Kawasaki green and the color of 911 GT3s, the British singer's ride definitely bucks the trend for Ferrari aquisitions, most of which are made in the color red.
With only 499 examples ever to be made, maybe Jay Kay just couldn't resist owning a LaFerrari. There are a number of things that make this a great car, but it's the driving experience that most attracted this buyer.

Back in March 2013, Jay visited Maranello and checked out the La Ferrari. At that time, the singer told CEO Luca di Montezemolo the following:"It's an amazing car and, just looking at it makes you want to drive it.I think it's hard to imagine such a concentration of style, technology, performance and excitement all in the one package."

It seems that the combination of powerful V12 motor and electric motor were enough to sway him into paying a price that not many people can. Money alone will not get you a LaFerrari though, since customers are screened by the company based on factors like previous Ferrari ownership. No such problems for Jamiroquai's front man though, as he owns several all-time bests, like the Enzo and the classic 330.

Jay Kay has a musical career that has earned him tens of millions. However, the world best knows him for his huge supercar collection. He is not only a Ferrari guy, also owning several Porsches, including a aubergine 911 2.7 RS, a GT3 RS and '55 Pre A Speedster.

His love also extends to luxury mobiles like the Mercedes-Benz Grosser, a car that most associate with the dictators. Kay says that growing up in the 70s has taught him that cars and music go together very well. Back then, everybody had them, from Rob Stewart to Elton John.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
