Corvette ZR1 Centennial Edition Drifts for Charity

Vehicles that go under the hammer for charity usually offer a noble perspective, but one that’s also boring for the audience that’s not involved in the bidding process. However, the Corvette ZR1 Centenial Edition you see in the adjacent clip is one big, fat, powersliding exception to this.
The vehicle was takes out for a playing session by professional drifter Ryan Tuerck, with the 2012 model year car being offered for sale - the proceeds are set to go to the Susan G. Komen breast cancer foundation.

As you can see, he put the car through its paces and was pretty determined to turn those beefy rear tires into smoke and all that just to make sure that the vehicle fetches some extra funds for the charity we mentioned above - OK, we admit, he also enjoyed what he was doing...
