Ever since the 2014 model year when it showed up, the C7 Corvette has managed to grab many, many hearts. Nevertheless, ‘Vette aficionados still have a few nits to pick when it comes to the styling of the Chevy.
Let’s take the front fascia, for example. That horizontal chrome strip has caused controversy, and people are still discussing it today. In fact, they’re doing more than that, with enthusiasts taking the time to play with it using image manipulation software.

One of these Photoshop treatments has recently landed on Reddit, with a Corvette fan choosing to perform light facial surgery on the Corvette Stingray.

In our books, the C7 looks much better now. But not everything you see here could be performed on the actual car.

We’re talking about the air dam removal. While this may not be all that visible in the image above, here’s what the pixel player has to say about the image - “My quick photoshop fix of the C7 Corvette. I think the C7 is GORGEOUS.. except for the front air dams. I feel like it doesn't fit the whole aggressiveness of the car. So here's my quick Photoshop. I'm not saying the shape I used is the best, but it already looks a LOT better.

Heck, we don’t even like air dams on the Silverado, let alone the Corvette. But you can't strip an aero part off a car and expect it to deliver the same aerodynamic efficiency.

Returning to the parts that could be done in real life, the chrome strip is now missing - certain C7 owners have installed Z06 grilles simply because it helped them get rid of the shiny bits.

Then we have the air intakes that have appeared on the sides of the front apron. Since you can never have too much brake cooling on the track, we won’t complain.
