Corvette Named Top American Car by Consumer Reports

The Chevrolet Corvette is on a roll: earlier today GM released the 2011 sales figures, with the 'Vette dominating the luxury sports car market and now it's time for another piece of news that places the car on a pedestal, as Consumer Reports has named it the top American car.
We are referring to the 505 hp Corvette Z06, which received a score of 92 out of 100, topping the publication’s drive tests for 2012 (in terms of American cars). So, the ‘Vette is the car you’re looking for.

Wait, wait, if it’s sheer maths we’re looking at, it seems that the Toyota Camry Hybrid is virtually just as good, as it received a score of 91. At the other end of the scale, we find, among others, the Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, which only received 20 points. Now that can’t be right...
