California-based Corbin Seats put out a new replacement seat for the Honda Africa Twin, replacing the two-piece stock one with a beefy single-piece option that is said to offer more structural support and the possibility to accept a removable passenger backrest.

In fact, there are two seats: one that emulates the height of the stock version and another one that provides an easier ground reach for shorter riders, with the latter to be introduced soon.

The High Dual passenger seating area was designed with a neutralized platform to curb rider and passenger’s slide forward in the saddle. Dished shaping provides an improved contact area to increase comfort while keeping a clean look.

The extra support for the passenger is easily obtained through the optional backrest that can be installed with a single bolt under the saddle. It is also fully adjustable to offer a tailored fit.

Corbin’s High Dual saddle for the new Africa Twin is also designed to be compatible with the optional Honda saddlebags. This is achieved by being fitted with the same mounts design as the standard one, and they also secure with the Honda key lock system.

The kit includes all the brackets you need and are already pre-mounted on the seat to make your job easier. Speaking of which, this is a task you could do in an afternoon with a couple beers to keep you company in the garage.

The High Dual saddle also comes with heating and is offered at an MSRP of $593. The standard version is $473, while the backrest comes in at $243.
