Cool Hunting iPad App, Sponsored by 2011 Cadillac CTS Coupe

The Cool Hunting iPad application, set to be launched on April 3, is being sponsored and inspired by GM's 2011 Cadillac CTS Coupe. In the first twelve weeks following the release of the application, the car's design and performance will inspire the hunt for cool things with the help of Apple's latest gadget.

“The Cadillac CTS Coupe serves as muse for our design and technology stories.” Josh Rubin, founder Cool Hunting said in a release.

“We’re always looking for ways to inspire our audience -- both with the content we create and the way we deliver it. We’re excited that our relationship with Cadillac enabled new opportunities for our readers to engage with our content while pushing the innovative ways we work with brands."

The new model in Cadillac's lineup is powered by a direct injected 3.6-liter V6 unit that develops 304 horsepower. It is mated to a six-speed manual transmission that helps it achieve a fuel consumption rating of 27 mpg (8.7 l/100km) in highway conditions.

There are two feature packages available: a Performance Package with 18-inch wheels and all-season tires (available in both RWD and AWD) and the Summer Tire Performance Package, with 19-inch tires and wheels. StabiliTrak is available as standard across the entire range.

“CTS Coupe is designed to capture the imagination of a new generation of luxury and sports car buyers,” Don Butler, vice president of Cadillac marketing concluded. “We’re pleased that the car inspires this type of innovative content, reaching leading edge consumers.”
