Convoy of Audi RS6 Avants Leaving Worthersee 2016 Give You an Eargasm

Right up until 2010 or so, the Worthersee GTI Meet was all about... the GTI. But now, everybody has joined the fun. There's a growing community around youngtimes like the E63 BMW M6 or the E55 AMG, for example.

We think cars like the SEAT Leon Cupra should be welcomed at the GTI event because, under the skin, the Spanish hot hatch has the same components as the Golf. However, the same cannot be said about the Audi RS6 Avant.

If Satan drove a family wagon, this would be it. The current generation is one of the most popular RS models ever made. People who don't even need the big trunk buy them because of the unexpected performance. The soundtrack is not too bad either, somewhere between machine guns firing and old propeller fighter aircraft.

We found a video where five of them are leaving the Worthersee 2016 meeting at the same time. Thanks to their custom exhaust systems, most of them sound a lot better than the R8 supercar that's trailing them.

The guy who uploaded the video to Facebook says this is probably the most expensive convoy ever. At €111,000 a piece, these wagons aren't cheap. But we can still call them affordable performance cars. Even if you include all the tuning and that R8, the total is roughly one million euros.

The most expensive convoy we can think of right now is made up of 15 LaFerrari hypercars and a bunch of lesser Ferraris. The funny thing is that one of the commenters has another expensive convoy to offer as an example. "Then you haven't seen a convoy of farmers. A tractor costs more than the RS6, and there are more than just 5 or 6. Maybe 20 or 30," says Hansi Winkler.

He's right. But there aren't that many tractors that sound like this!
