Consumer Reports has yet again published its relatively thorough test results on a bunch of new vehicles for the US market. First off, the BMW X3, fitted with the new 2.0-liter turbo (xDrive28i), which was well liked for its interior build and finish, economy and the way it handled on the track. BMW also did a good job at road-proofing it. And so, CR found it fit for the “Recommended” rating.

As for the new Range Rover Evoque, that scored well for looks, acceleration and stopping power. But it fell short in driving fell, cabin noise and the fact that in the avoidance tests the back wheel lifted off.
