The automotive industry has no shortage of struggling companies. Fiat in Europe, Suzuki in America, to name but a few, have had their fair share sales declines. Mitsubishi Motors could also be considered one of them, as its sales have steadily fallen in the US the past few years.

To keep from suffering the same fate as Suzuki in America, the company is introducing two new cars. There's the Mirage, which will go on sale this fall, a cheap hatchback that could deliver great fuel economy, and this, the new Outlander SUV which is already available.
Consumer Reports recently released the first impressions of the new Outlander, which are understandably mixed. It's not exactly a looker, but does bring back things customers still want in America, such as a standard third-row seat and optional V6.
The SUV has a nice interior but isn't that special to drive, despite being made by the same company that makes the Evo. Go figure!
However, at a base price of $22,995 for the base ES, we're struggling to think of what else you could buy for the money.
Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
