Ladies and gentlemen, we give you the Aston Martin One-77. This car was revealed at the 2008 Paris Motor Show and although no pricing information was ever made available, we can tell you that it’s rumored to start at £1,050,000, which is about €1,220,000 at the current exchange rate.
And if the fact that it costs as much as a Veyron doesn’t impress you, we’ll also add that only 77 are supposed to be built. Yet even though deliveries only started in October 2010, one supercar spotter managed to scoop a fair chunk of these, capturing them on camera. We are of course talking about Shmee150, who for his 1,000th video posted this compilation.
Black white, brown, silver or featuring crazy wraps, all these cars are spectacular in every way. All are powered by a unique 7.3-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine that is basically an extreme evolution of the 6.0-liter V12 engines fitted to the Aston Martin DBS, DB9 and new V12 Vantage models. The magnificent beast you hear revving in the video delivers all of its 700+ horsepower (some say as much as 750 hp) to the rear wheels via a new six-speed gearbox.
