It seems like BMW is already working on a Competition Package for the M3 and M4, similar to the one launched for the M5 and M6 last year, along with the rejuvenation of the former.
According to BMW insider Scott26, the Munich-based company has engineers working on such a kit for the new models that is bound to reach the market in less than 2 years: “The timescale works absolutely in favor with the new BMW M3 and BMW M4 Coupe because a gap of two years allows establishment and progress. By this time there will be the Competition Package for the M3 and M4”.
If the M5 experience tells us something, then expect the ZCP to bring more horsepower and, possibly, more torque to the chassis of the two cars, making them more competitive in the race against the upcoming C63 AMG that is going to be revealed within a year.
