Last year BMW released the LCI version of the F10 M5 and added some surprises in the basket too. One of them was the so-called Competition Package.
What this new package does is bring 15 more HP to the table alongside a broader range for the torque making the M5 and the M6 models better than before. To quote the guys from MotorTrend, “the Competition Package makes the M5 what it was supposed to be from the beginning”.
Other changes have been done around the suspension (lowering it and making it a bit more responsive), the rear differential that has a new software and locks up earlier to allow for sharper response around a track.
Too bad it costs $7,300 in the US and it doesn’t even include the Carbon Ceramic Brakes that will set you back another $9,300. The car below has both of them so you can imagine just what kind of a price tag it had.
We’re talking about it because it looks great without any major modification. The only thing that was added to the mix was a black front grille from iND Distribution.
