GM Inside News
once again has the scoop on this machine. According to them the Chevy SS will get an early reveal in 2013 and will probably enter production in the fall of the same year.

The car will likely be imported from from Australia and will come with a 6.2-liter LS3 V8 engine, which should as much if not more power than the Camaro SS, which currently packs 426 hp and 420 lb-ft (569 Nm) of torque.

Performance cars are always welcome, but the packaging needs to be right for this to sell.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
