Classic cars, comedy all-stars and coffee that isn’t served in a paper cup with a cardboard sleeve. What’s not to like about the video series created and directed by the one and only Jerry Seinfeld? The timeframe between seasons is our answer as well, but fret not - Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee season 6 will premiere on June 3rd and it’ll be great!
The Producers Guild of America Award decided that Jerry’s show is so great that the web series won the Outstanding Digital Series category. The six-episode sixth season will star top-notch guests: Jim Carrey, Stephen Colbert, Steve Harvey, Trevor Noah, Bill Maher and Julia Louis-Dreyfus. Nice lineup, huh?
On the petrolhead front, the old-timers that will be featured include an Aston Martin DB5 that would make James Bond wet his bed, a bravado-laden Ferrari 308 GTB, and a small Morgan roadster. The other three classic cars are a blue-painted Lamborghini Countach, a VW Beetle police car, and a 1957 Chevrolet.
Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee season 6 will premiere this coming Wednesday (June 3rd) at 11:30 PM ET at the Crackle YouTube channel. If you’re not too much into the selection of classic metal (or coffee for that matter), you’ll certainly appreciate the humorous side of Jerry and his guests.
To be joined by friends for a cup of coffee and a drive in a classic car is great, all things considered. Sharing stories all along the way is what makes it special. It’s no wonder the web series already numbers 35 episodes aired over the span of three years. Here’s to another 6 seasons.
