Colin McRae may not have been the most decorated rally driver, but his gung-ho, no-holds-barred style quickly turned him into a fans' favorite. And it only takes one video of one his races to realize why that was: he put so much passion into the sport that's impossible not to sympathize with him.
His attitude - well, his skills too - is also what made him the youngest ever WRC title winner in 1995 when he was just 27-years-old, a record that still stands today. However, his career wasn't to be marked by a long list of titles, but that doesn't make it any less spectacular. McRae was the kind of driver that would give his all in the last race of the season even if the title was already secured, and that's what set him apart from the rest and earned the respect of the public.

Well, McRae never competed in the famed Group B, but that doesn't mean he didn't own a Group B car. And since he was Scottish, what model would have been more suited than an MG Metro 6R4? The diminutive hatchback is the ultimate hot hatch, with a bodykit that you don't really know whether to laugh at or run away from.

Luckily, it has the power to match the looks. The 1,000-kilogram (2,200 pounds) car has a 3.0-liter V6 naturally aspirated engine where its backseat should be, which explain the large air intakes on the side of the vehicle. So it's essentially a rear-engined supercar that produces over 400 horsepower thanks to the twin-cam heads modeled after Cosworth's Formula F1 DFV V8 engine. It also packs a four-wheel-drive system, so this little thing goes like stink.

It's also for sale, but given its pedigree and its former owner, don't expect to go cheap. It's currently listed at 350.000 English pounds (approximately $460,000) on eBay, but the owner does accept other vehicles in exchange. You know, just in case you have other Group B vehicles or a Formula One car lying around.
