Good news come from the NGM camp as both their riders seem extremely pleased with their new bikes after the Valencia test.
NGM Mobile Forward Racing confirmed Colin Edwards as their rider for the third year in a row and have also enlisted Power Electronics Aspar former rider and new CRT champion Aleix Espargaro as the new team mate for the American.

However, the biggest change for the 2014 season is represented by the new bikes the two will be riding. While Forward Racing maintained FTR as their chassis supplier, but have decided to switch the Kawasaki-sourced power units for the M1 engine Yamaha offers willing teams.

It was funny to hear and see Edwards' beeming face commenting on the first test aboard the M1-powered machines. According to him, the new bike feels so much more like a racing machine than the former prototype, which was not bad at all.

Knowing that Yamaha has delivered a 2013-spec engine which was slightly "dumbed down" than what Lorenzo and Rossi rode, we can expect NGM to come a step or two closer to the epicenter of the battle in 2014.

And with Espargaro showing consistent speed and high-class racing talent, we may very well see him grow even better with the new bike.
