CODA Sedan Finally Available for Purchase

Though not a familiar name to most, Coda Automotive had officially announced the first deliveries of its electric sedan two months ago, but apparently, due to damaged parts being shipped from China, the deliveries have had to be postponed.
Sources say that they are currently repairing the damaged components in-house and the first 10 cars will be available for purchase some time this week from their Los Angeles-based dealership. According to the firm’s CEO Phil Murtaugh, they “have opted for a slow production acceleration in order to ensure flawless execution at every step of our operating system, which includes component supply from four continents, manufacturing operations at two locations in China and one location in the U.S., logistics pipeline and dealer delivery process."

We hope that their new EV will not fail as we need less-mainstream manufacturers to come up with interesting new concepts. Despite the fact that their current car is rather bland to look at, it’s not offensive to the eye and promisses a range of between 140 - 190km (90-120miles) so it’s a decent proposition in that respect as well.
