Unfortunately for us, gearheads, the regulation differences between Europe and North America are pretty big and some of them even affect the exterior looks of our cars.
It's the case with the headlights too. In the US, cars need to have reflectors installed on their bumpers and those pesky signal lights are always a bore (at least for me) when looked at.
We know they are meant to protect you and help avoid accidents but in most cases, they don't make a difference. It would be so much better to use just some daytime running lights and be done with it. This way, BMW would build cars more easily and most of us would like the looks of our cars even better.

- Torx (star) screwdrivers (T30 & T40) - make sure you have one with a long shaft
- Flathead screwdriver
- 8mm Socket
- 11mm Socket
- Extenders
- Piece of coated wire - 2-3ft (1m) in length
- Pliers
- Spreader
