We all know how an appropriately chosen set of wheels can completely change the look of a car, provided you are not planning to turn your ride into a big ugly donk.
It goes the same for the Ford Mustang, regardless which model year, and we know for sure a lot of 'Stang owners out there like their pony cars sitting on fancy rims. In fact, who doesn't?

Anyway, the reason we touched this subject is Classic Design Concepts' new wheel line for 2005-15 Ford Mustangs, available under the Outlaw name. We like it, but let's find out more about the wheels.

The company promises their rims will make your Mustang a "sure fire head turner", but we'd like to share more info on the wheels themselves.

To start with, you should know the Outlaw wheels are made using Flow Forming technology. That means they fall under the 'forged' category. Therefore, less aluminum is used, translated into reduced weight but better strength.

It's all about chemistry, really: as high-pressure rollers heat, stretch, and fortify the material to the specified width and density, the molecular compound of the metal hardens in a streamline direction creating a lightweight and high-strength wheel.

What you also need to know is that these wheels will only work on a Mustang. They are hub centric which means you don't need spacers, and you can install them on any 2005-2015 MY Ford Mustang.

According to Classic Design Concepts, sizes available are 20 x 9 and 20 x 10 which gives you the option of creating a staggered look, or going with the same size on all four corners. Plus, we know some tuning shops and owners who would love the idea of a staggered look for their pony car.

We'll leave you with the brand's description of the product, which we find hilarious:

"The Outlaw wheels stand apart from anything else on the road. While they look sinister during the day, they’re even more mysterious after dark. With the optional reflective inserts, you can illuminate the night adding another dimension of cool."
