What will arguably be the most important car in the Mercedes-Benz USA lineup in terms of sales in the following year, the CLA will soon receive its proper bonkers AMG version in the land of the free.
Sporting a two-liter, turbocharged four-cylinder with no less than 360 hp (355 bhp) and 450 Nm (332 lb ft) of torque, the Mercedes-Benz CLA 45 AMG will be a game-changer for the American branch of AMG.

Part of the reason for this is the fact that it's the first AMG brought into the US that has less than six cylinders (the five-cylinder C 30 CDI AMG was never imported in the States).

The other part is represented by the fact that it's also the cheapest AMG model that has ever been tasted by the Yanks, making first impressions of the car to be extremely important to potential buyers out there.

The peeps from Digital Trends recently had a go at trashing a Mercedes-Benz CLA 45 on the track and obviously wrote their opinions about how the car handles in a well-put together review.
