Citroen Taking the Fight to Fiat 500 With DS1

European automakers are once again realizing that small is beautiful, and the perfect example of this is the recently revealed Peugeot 208, which is also much lighter than its predecessor. Citroen too has small on its mind, and what better segment to target than the premium one.
We’ve heard reports already that they have a DS1 three-door hatch coming in 2013, and now AutoExpress comes forth with this awesome rendering of what the newest member of the DS family is likely to look like.

LED daytime running lights are immediately evident, and so is the huge C-pillar at the back. The car we’re dreaming of is something that takes on the 500 Abarth in French style. It's rumored this will have 130 hp or so, thogh we're hoping for a bit hotter than that.
