Some cars make you hate even the shortest of journeys. Ever been in a 2001 Hyundai Accent three-pot diesel? However, there are cars which just teleport you back to a time when the internet was non-existant, people were nicer and everything had a much slower, more relaxed pace.
Step aboard one of the representative GT cars of the 1970s - the Citroen SM. A car with a shape so perfect, that you didn’t need windscreen wipers when it rained, as the water simply glided off. Aside from its visually pleasing shape, Maserati-designed engine with a very precies five-cog manual, ultra-sophisticated suspension and a modern interior, the SM represents so much more.Back when it was new, it would have been an alternative to GT offerings from the main premium Italian manufacturers, which we say it beat in terms of both technology and looks.

Sadly, nowadays everybody rebadges their cars and uses jointly-developed common platforms and engines and all cars drive just as badly. You have to be a millionaire nowadays to get a car which is as far ahead of its time as the SM was back in its prime.
