Introduced at the 2013 Goodwood Festival of Speed, the spectacular Citroen Cabrio Racing Concept will reportedly be offered as a limited production model in early 2014.
According to Autocar, fewer than 200 units of the Citroen DS3 Cabrio Racing will be built, each of them to go on sale with a price tag of around £30,000. That's double when compared to the base DS3 cabrio!
The Citroen DS3 Cabrio Racing will arrive with a 1.6-liter THP engine under its bonnet. Rated at 207 HP, the unit should enable the Racing Cabrio to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just over 7 seconds and reach a top speed of more than 200 km/h.
As you've already seen last week, the concept vehicle sports carbon fiber parts, 19-inch wheels, Black Chrome accents and a huge sunroof. The good new is that all these features will be transferred on the production model.
