Citroen Launches DS3 Configurator and Pricing

Though there is still a lot of time remaining until the official launch of Citroen’s new supermini car, the DS3, the French decided to respond to the interest people showed in their project. And their answer has as many details about the car as you want: they unveiled an online configurator that allows those interested to create their perfect DS3.

DS3 is Citroen’s response to the Fiat 500 or the MINI, and is the first car from its new DS range. Apart from the DS3, a DS4 and a DS5 will be presented to the public. The range is characterized by new styling, radical detailing and a huge choice of design options.

The DS3 will have three trim levels - DSign, DStyle and DSport - and will be available with three engine petrol choices and two HDi diesel engines. All the powerplants were developed alongside BMW and will develop from 90 hp to 150 hp.

Citroen DS3 range starts with the 1.4 16V VTi 95 hp in DSign trim which will cost £11,700. If you’re a tree hugger, you can try the 1.6HDi 16V 90 hp engine which only produces 99g/km CO2.
