Online media is the easiest way to create, share and improve ideas and that’s exactly what the French constructor Citroen hopes to get from the collaboration with Facebook.
They created an app that lets members choose the design for the Citroen C1 Special Edition. It’s called the Citroen C1 Connexion and in the UK it will be the first production vehicle made by internet collective work.
On Citroen UK’s official Facebook page you’ll have the opportunity to choose the number of doors, add and combine colours on the interior and exterior, or just add useful equipment such as Bluetooth or Sat Nav.
After this brainstorming, the most voted, viewed and disputed configuration of the New C1 Connexion will be produced as soon as possible and will go on sale at the end of the year. Their campaign’s motto is “You like it. We make it”, and the configuration process is open until 30 April.
