Facebook, the new wonder marketing tool for auto makers, is intensely used these days by French auto maker Citroen to showcase the model which it will be bringing to next week's Geneva Auto Show. After earlier this week the manufacturer revealed the C3 Red Block on the social network, the week ends with a new interpretation of its newest line of vehicles, the DS4. Called Purple, the concept has been created as a means to mix two worlds, that of the automobile and that of a jeweler. According to Citroen, the model is “an item of desire and distinction that subtly reinterprets the jeweller’s craft.” Translated into words we can all understand that means a great attention to detail, some golden inserts here and there and a very well constructed overall image. The Geneva booth of the French auto maker will be filled with premieres, most of which have been announced this week. Aside for the Red Block we mentioned earlier, the manufacturer will also bring to the event the C6 Noir et Blanc concept (more models could be announced until the show kicks off). Aside for the models which it will be bringing to Geneva, Citroen also presented earlier this week the Serie Noire edition for the DS3 and C5, in an attempt to stay the Renault special edition models. autoevolution will be attending the 2011 Geneva Motor Show, so stay tuned for some real up close and personal shots of the vehicles, as well as for first-hand details of the motorized contraptions presented at the event.
