Citroen DS3 in New Pixie Lott Music Video

The new music video for the fresh single ‘Broken Arrow’ by English popstar Pixie Lott will be featuring the Citroen DS3, the British division of the carmaker revealed today. This, in fact, will mark a UK first for vehicle product placement in a music video.

Directed by Gregg Masuak, the video follows Pixie in various romantic scenes, both past and present, encountering lost loves and new relationships.

Out on October 11, the single is a brand new track from the re-released version of Pixie Lott’s multi-platinum 2009 debut album, Turn It Up, which has sold over 600,000 copies in the UK alone.

Pixie Lott became famous with her June 2009 debut single ‘Mama Do (Uh Oh, Uh Oh)’, which went straight to number one in the UK charts, with her debut album producing five consecutive Top 20 singles.

“Pixie Lott is one of the most talented and successful young performers of our time. We’re thrilled DS3 was chosen to appear in her new video – a happening vehicle for an up and coming artist,” Marc Raven, Citroën Communications Director, said in a release.

The DS3 went on sale earlier this year, with pricing starting at EUR 15,400. The roof of the DS3 can be painted in four colors contrasting the body: Onyx black, Opale white, Botticelli blue and Carmen rouge. Additionally, the rearview mirror housing and door sills can also be colored or chromed while the wheels and wheel center are also available in a wide array of paintings.

The DS3 will be soon accompanied by DS4 - projected for 2011 - and DS5 - scheduled to be released at a later date.
