Citroen C5 Receives Minor Upgrades for 2012 and UK Pricing

The Citroen C5, in both Saloon and Tourer variants, has been selling steadily since its 2008 launch, reaching a respectable figure of 400,000 units sold to date. To keep the car fresh for 2012, Citroen have given the C5 some minor upgrades, both in terms of styling and technology.

Aesthetically, the car receives the new rounded off dual-chevron logo, to bring the car in line with the brand’s other offerings, as well as new 17-inch ‘Egée’ rims, only available on the ‘Exclusive’ trim level. Also new is the ‘Guarnaja Brwon’ body colour which gives the C5 a very DS-esque air.

On the technological front, the 2012 C5 gets a new eMyWay infotainment system, which offers sat-nav, jack socket, as well as USB and Bluetooth connectivity. Another addition is the reversing camera which is only available on the Tourer model.

Also new are the three ‘Techno Packs’, called 'VTR Techno Pack', 'VTR+ Techno Pack' and 'Exclusive Techno Pack' which feature some (or all) of the aforementioned features. If you are interested in the updated C5, the range kicks off at £19,895 (€24,800) for the saloon and £1,000 (€1,245) more gets you the estate.
