French carmaker Citroen is coming to the 82nd edition of the Geneva Motor Show with all guns blazing. One of the products that will be on display for us to see next week is this, the C3 Red Block Special Edition, a new paint and leather combo for the supermini.
With a name like that, we’re disappointed that the only actual red on the car i the leather inside, and even that doesn’t have the luster of last year’s concept, plus it’s an optional extra.

What it does have, however, is a set of 17-inch diamond-effect rims that are fitted with 205/40 tires. Again, why did they not put red on those is beyond us.

The color pallet is made up of five tones, namely Shark Blue, Banquise White, Aluminium Grey, Manitoba Grey and Obsidian Black.

The big surprise this car has in store is that there’s more to it than meats the eye. It’s got a lowered suspension by 25 mm (1 inch) a stiffer setup and better steering.

The engine range is made up of VTi 120PS petrol, e-HDi 90 and e-HDi 100 diesels.

autoevolution will be attending the 2012 Geneva Motor Show, so stay tuned for some real up close and personal shots of the vehicles, as well as for first-hand details of the motorized contraptions presented at the event.
