On the final leg of preparations for the 2011 Geneva Auto Show, French manufacturer Citroen released today the first images and a few info on the newest version of the C3, dubbed Red Block. Meant as a “rebel version of the city car,” the Red Block comes with a set of special features meant to set it aside from its regular peers. With info about what resides under the hood of the rebel still kept under wraps, the French auto maker presented on Facebook a C3 wearing lowered suspension, red 17 inch wheels, mat Thorium tint and 3D Bulldog carved dashboard (a real piece of work, we must admit). A special version aimed, obviously, at the young segment of the market, tired of the dull look of the regular production version of the model. For now, that's all there is to the special version of the C3. For more future info, you can access the auto maker's Facebook page. Separately, Citroen announced today the start of the pre-ordering program for the clearly more exciting DS4 model. With reservations now available online, the DS4 presents itself to future owners with a choice of two HDI diesels and three petrol engines, with prices starting from EUR22,500. If you want one, however, you must hurry, as only 500 units of the model will be made available. autoevolution will be attending the 2011 Geneva Motor Show, so stay tuned for some real up close and personal shots of the vehicles, as well as for first-hand details of the motorized contraptions presented at the event.
