Citroen C3 Picasso, C4 Get Airdream+ Versions

French manufacturer Citroen announced today it will expand the Airdream+ range with the addition to the C3 Picasso and C4. The two will join the already announced C3 Airdream+, launched earlier this year.

The Airdream+ vehicles are powered by HDi diesel engines, equipped with Diesel Particulate Filter System (DPFS). The units are paired with an optimized manual gearbox with a Gear Efficiency Indicator (C3 Picasso), while the C4 comes with fuel-saving Auto EGS gearbox.

The technologies used in the Airdream+ versions achieve a combined cycle fuel economy of in between 62.8 mpg and 74.3 mpg, while CO2 emissions stand at in between 99g to 119g/km.

The C3 Picasso Airdream+ comes equipped with rear parking sensors, Connecting Box (Bluetooth and USB), electric rear windows and
electrically adjustable and heated and folding door mirrors.

The C4 Hatchback Airdream+ comes equipped with Connecting Box and rear parking sensors, as well as automatic digital air conditioning (manual air conditioning is specified on the equivalent VTR+ model).

Prices for the Citroen C3 Picasso Airdream+ start at 14,590 pounds in the UK, while the Citroen C4 Airdream+ price starts at 18,345 pounds.

In the end of December 2009, Citroen presented the C1 Airdream Style, equipped with several exclusive features over the base model. Pricing starts at 11,430 euros for the 3-door version and at 11,780 euros for the five-door configuration, adding to the base level features such as 14-inch alloy wheels, Alpine audio system with Bluetooth compatibility, CD/MP3 player with USB and AUX connectivity.
