The first generation Citroen C3 was a very left-field choice for any prospective supermini buyer, however, its flimsy interior and questionable mechanical reliability prevented it from becoming really popular - it did sell well, though.
Now, the new generation C3, a much better car in every respect was launched in 2009 to a much warmer reception than its predecessor, featuring a very smart-looking exterior, as well as a very nicely designed high quality interior, as well as a panoramic windscreen, which is standard on all but the basic version.
However, three years after its launch, Citroen will be bringing out the facelifted version of the car, which features a redesigned front grille, LED DRLs as part of a new front bumper and chrome-effect mirrors. Sadly, to our eyes, this facelift is a step back in terms of design, especially since the DS3, a car with pretty much the same front end, looks much better.
Expect to see this car officially revealed at the Paris Motor Show, in September, where we will be present as always, taking as many high quality pictures as possible.
