Chrysler Group LLC has announced this year’s April sales of 156,698 units, an 11 percent increase compared with sales in the same month in 2012. Also, they represent the group’s best April sells since 2007.
This April was the 37th-consecutive month of year-over-year sales gain, as Jeep, Dodge, Ram Truck and Fiat brands posted their sales compared with the ones in the same month a year ago.
“Chrysler Group’s best April sales in six years helped to maintain our sales momentum and drove us to our 37th-consecutive month of year-over-year sales gains,” said Reid Bigland, Head of U.S. Sales. “Our sales last month were solid across the board with seven Chrysler Group vehicles recording their best April sales ever.”
Among the top sold vehicles, the Dodge Dart compact car has recorded the highest monthly sales since its 2012 launch and the Durango model increased its sales by 65 percent, marking its best April sale since 2005. The top is completed by a 49% increase of Ram Truck models an Jeeps’s Grand Cherokee’s 27 percent.
