Chrysler UK Appointed Seven New Dealers

Ever since Chrysler started its restructuring process, the company has developed a ”harsh love” relationship with a part of its U.S. dealers, which have been rejected form the carmaker’s network.

However, the automotive producer’s UK dealer network doesn’t face the same situation. Chrysler recently announced the appointment of seven new British dealers.

Enjoying a great start to 2010, the new dealerships are strategically located around the UK and offer the full Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge model range plus a broad selection of Genuine Approved Used vehicles for sale. The growth of Chrysler's dealer network in the UK is the result of a real focus on franchise development and selecting the right partners for the future,” stated the press release.

The recently opened Co-operative Group Motor Preston joins new dealerships Co-operative Group Motor Nottingham, Desira Norwich, Pentagon Chrysler (Barnsley) Ltd, Pentagon Chrysler (Manchester) Ltd and Underwoods Chrysler (Colchester), all including sales and aftersales facilities. In addition to that, a new dedicated aftersales point was inaugurated by Underwoods of Sudbury in March.

There is clear confidence in Chrysler’s future, and dealers want to be a part of a new success story and build a profitable relationship with one of the world’s legendary brands,” explained Federico Goretti, Managing Director of Chrysler UK Ltd.

Chrysler enjoyed an 18.3 % increase in new car sales for the first quarter of 2010. This success is down to the hard work of our dealer network and the wide selection of aspirational and desirable vehicles available to our customers,” the executive added.
