Chrysler to add 400-500 Jobs for Dodge Dart Production

The Dodge Dart has managed to capture quite a lot of attention so far, but Chrysler must go past the marketing play and concentrate on the production part in order to be able to keep it promises. Thus, the company is looking to add between 400 and 500 jobs for the vehicle’s production, as The Detroit Free Press.

The company will focus on part-time hourly and full-time temporally workforce. The Dart will be brought to life at the Belvidere plant, where the company has considered adding a third shift. However, Chrysler decided to use two full-throttle shifts instead.

In the end, the production needs will be dictated by demand, so this is just the beginning of the Dart development.
