Jeep and Mopar will once again join forces to create six new concepts for the upcoming 48th Annual Moab Easter Jeep Safari in Utah. The Jeep Cherokee Dakar and Jeep Wrangler MOJO are two of the six cars to be unveiled at the week-long event scheduled for April 12 to 20.
The Chrysler Group released two sketches that show a bright orange Jeep Wrangler outfitted with two-tone special rims, a winch bumper inspired by early Rubicon concepts and a Mopar Power Dome hood. On the other hand, the Cherokee Dakar Concept gets red tinted window trim, flared wheel arches, lifted suspension, prominent side skirts and a matte red, black and silver wheel color scheme. Jeep promised in its press release to offer more info and images about these two concepts next week.

For those of you not familiar with the Easter Jeep Safari, it's a massive week-long event held in Moab, Utah, that mostly consists of adventurous trail rides. It's good fun for off-road enthusiasts that want to challenge Moab's plentiful easy to difficult trails.

Last year's edition showcased a range of extreme vehicles from Jeep. The most interesting of the bunch were the go-anywhere Grand Cherokee Trailhawk Concept sporting 35-inch tires and the Wrangler Flattop with its massive 37-inch tires. The 6.4-liter HEMI V8 Wrangler Mopar Recon fitted with headlock wheels and Stinger off-road bumper was the horsepower junkie of the lot. Since 2002, Jeep and Mopar have teamed to create over 40 unique concept vehicles for enthusiasts who attend the popular Easter Jeep Safari.
