Chrysler Roadshow Begins

American manufacturer Chrysler announced yesterday the beginning of a 10-week long mobile showroom display, which will see ten of the Jeep, Dodge and Ram Truck vehicles visit 50 companies and 22,000 employees in a show and tell event.

The tour will take to companies which are Chrysler partners, including suppliers and affiliates. The tour is scheduled to last through November. The cars which are taking part in the tour are the 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee, 2011 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, 2011 Dodge Caliber, 2011 Ram 1500 and 2011 Ram 2500, 2010 Chrysler 300S, Chrysler Town & Country, Dodge Journey, Dodge Challenger and Dodge Viper ACR.

“We’re taking the showroom directly to our affiliate and supplier employees, where they can check out our 2011 models and talk to our product specialists in a fun and relaxed environment right at work,” said Fred Diaz, Chrysler Lead Executive for US Sales.

The first stop of the tour will take place this weekend, at the following locations: 3M in St. Paul, Minnesota, Case New Holland in Fargo, N.D. and Benson, Minnesota. When it concludes, the tour would take the three trailers wrapped in festive Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Ram Truck and Mopar brand graphics some 12,000 miles.

For the people living in the areas through which the caravan of trailers will pass, the sight of a Dodge Viper ACR, visible through a display window, will be the main treat. For the employees of Chrysler's partners, the tour also comes with a discount on their next vehicle purchase or lease. That's on top of the existing incetives offered by dealers.
