Chrysler, Mopar to Rock Woodward Dream Cruise

The Woodward Dream Cruise, the world's largest one-day gathering of automotive enthusiasts (1.5 million visitors, 40,000 cars) is an event American manufacturer Chrysler doesn't plan on missing. Together with its Mopar division, Chrysler plans a huge display of vehicles and technologies, with the cars to be brought to the event to include both classics and current production vehicles of the Chrysler, Dodge, Fiat, Jeep, Ram Truck and Mopar brands.

Taking the center stage will be cars like the brand new Grand Cherokee and Wrangler, the European version of the Fiat 500 and a 1970 version of the same model, the Dodge Challenger in all its interpretations (Challenger R/T, Challenger SRT8 and Targa), the Charger, and the Mopar 10 Challenger.

The Motorsports division will be represented by the No. 2 and No. 12 NASCAR, Viper ACR-X, Viper Nurburgring, Viper Convertible, Viper Comp Coupe, Mopar edition Challenger R/T, Pace Challenger SRT8 and Nitro Shock.

“The Woodward Dream Cruise is the perfect place to showcase our Mopar brand,”
said Pietro Gorlier, Mopar CEO. “During this event, Woodward Avenue is over-flowing with enthusiasts and we want to show every single one of them what’s new at Mopar.”

Aside for vehicles, Mopar will be bringing to the event Ramchargers Tom Coddington, Dave Rockwell, Dick Jones, Peter McNicholl and John Wehrly, who will be present at the Mopar Direct Connection Trailer.

Mopar hats, t-shirts, hoodies, diecasts and Mopar Authentic Performance Gear will be available for purchase. So will be Fiat brand merchandise, offered to go with gelato, espresso and cappuccino available at the Fiat Mobile Experience display.

The Chrysler display will be located in the Northwood Shopping Plaza on the southwest corner of 13 Mile and Woodward in Royal Oak, Michigan.
