Chrysler Group MasterCard Credit Card Launched

Following a deal with First National Bank of Omaha and MasterCard, Chrysler Group announced the launch of an automotive credit card program that comes to reward brand loyalty. The Chrysler Group MasterCard credit cards come branded with the Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Ram Truck or Fiat names.

Customers may apply for the cards at any participating Chrysler Group dealership beginning in May 2011. The Chrysler MasterCard has no annual fee and offers Chrysler Group customers a competitive annual percentage rate.

"This new credit card program is a way to thank our loyal customers who can earn discounts on service and parts at our dealerships, as well as cash off of new vehicle purchases," said Fred Diaz, President and CEO – Ram Truck and Lead Executive for U.S. Sales.

Cardholders earn and redeem points for a variety of products and services ranging from cash off of vehicle purchases, parts, or service at Chrysler Group dealerships to travel, merchandise, and gift cards.

The custom rewards program enables cardholders to earn increased points at Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram Truck, and Fiat dealerships. Cardholders earn three points for every $1 spent on purchases at the participating dealerships, two points for travel-related purchases, and one point for all other purchases. The associated benefits offered by the card make it one of the finest in the industry, such as no cap on reward point earning or redemption.

"This co-branded card provides drivers another way to demonstrate their affinity for the brand while earning valuable rewards at their dealer and the millions of locations worldwide where MasterCard is accepted," said Craig Vosburg, Group Executive, Market Development, U.S. Markets, MasterCard Worldwide.
