Chrysler Forced to Sell Its Los Angeles Dealership by Its Own Dealers

We all know America is a free country, but this makes things a little bit complicated sometimes and then you have to turn to justice. However, some US lawsuits can be... strange, to use a politically-correct word. Let’s bring up a recent example from the automotive world.
Last year, Chrysler opened an impressive factory-owned dealership in downtown Los Angeles last year, with the company looking to display its new forces, including Fiat. However, the company is now being forced to sell the business by its own dealers, as these state that the move violate a California state law that doesn’t allow factory-owned dealerships to be located within 10 miles (16km) of other dealerships.

Now go and try to do business with those people...
