The US-version of the car was officially revealed today at the Los Angeles Auto Show, but Chrysler says that dealers have already been instructed over the model so they're ready to take orders. For those of you who don't know, Fiat 500 is built by Chrysler's plant in Toluca, Mexico while the engine it is equipped with comes from Dundee, Michigan, another location belonging to the US-based carmaker.
Fiat hopes to sell a total of 50,000 units in the first year in the United States, although only the regular body-styled 500 will be initially available. However, the cabrio version will follow in 2011, with more models to be added at a later date.
